" The San Francisco Bay Trail is a 400+ mile shared-use path
that will one day allow continuous travel around the Bay. "
I would like to propose a group project to create a series of
Letterboxes on all the segments of the SF Bay trail. Some
segments already contain boxes. Perhaps the clues for the
boxes could be linked via a web ring or some other mechanism.
Thoughts?
One day a boxer will be able to travel the full 400 miles boxing as
she (or he) goes.
Heres the URL for the Bay Trail:

I think my Year of the Ram box is on the Bay Trail. Witchypoo is on the Bay Ridge
Trail - is that something else entirely?

Yes, the Bay Ridge Trail is a different critter. The SF Bay Trail
will hopefully ring the entire bay some day and stick close to the
shoreline. The Bay Ridge trail is more up in the hills. My Itchy &
Scratchy boxes at Kennedy Grove are actually on part of this trail.
The Wildcat boxes may also be near this trail.
I think plans to place boxes along both trails would be a great
idea! The Bay Ridge Trail is also a work in progress but their site
claims it will also ring the Bay Area some day connecting 400 miles
of multi-use trails. http://www.ridgetrail.org/

Now I was not aware of the Bay Ridge Trail. Thanks for the info.
